Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of Appco COD (“the App”), provided by Appco Software (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

The service

The App lets Shopify merchants show or hide Cash on Delivery at checkout based on rules they configure. You need an active Shopify store to use it. You are responsible for how you configure your rules and for the payment methods you offer to your customers.

Plans and billing

The App offers a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans are billed through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. Plan prices, features and COD order limits are shown in the App and on our Shopify App Store listing. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the App. Refunds are handled under Shopify’s billing terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it other than through Shopify, or use it in breach of Shopify’s terms or any applicable law.

Availability

We work to keep the App available and working correctly, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Checkout behaviour also depends on Shopify’s platform, which is outside our control. We may update or change the App’s features over time.

Limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost sales or lost profits arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the App in the three months before the claim.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects and how we use it.

Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access if these terms are breached. After uninstall, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
